Macitas at Cutler Bay

We came from Atlanta. We come down a few times a year. We barely speak Spanish but they was nice and have English speaking people there. The nervous feeling when lack of communication happens wasn't there. Food was great. Felt warm and cozy before we head to the beach.

Macitas has the best empanadas de carne I've ever had. However, their service has gone down, their quantities have become less but their prices have gone up. The food doesnt taste as good as it used to and it took almost 40 minutes to get our food last time we were there.

Authentic Colombian cuisine.Every single time my father and I have to drive down to where Macitas is. There is absolutely no question about where we will be eating for lunch. It will be here without a doubt.Their delicious food is honestly hard to compare.. even to high end over priced Colombian restaurants.It’s truly a treat.My favorite way to start my lunch there is with their Colombian empanadas.You have to have them! And my favorite dish is their Carne asada with frijoles Colorados and arroz and maduros.My mouth is watering as I write this review just thinking about it.This great food is matched by nice service and a great price. If you are in the area and are wondering if you should eat here. Let this review convince you. Try it out!
